Over 200 meteorological stations located in Utah deliver continuously basic data about current atmospheric conditions. Most of them are updated every 5 minutes. The archived data are available in form of ASCII tables and graphics since 1997. The access to the archive is public and interesting data can be easily retrieved from the Web site http://www.met.utah.edu . For the purpose of ASU VTMX experiments most interesting are data from surrounding stations. The nearest to ASC station is WBB (1.6km). It is located at the top of 30m building of University of Utah and has elevation 1465m.
Get here time series archived for selected MESOWEST station
For the future analysis of the MESONET data 36 stations are selected, most of them located nearby the ASU site. Table 1 gives the stations name, location and height. The first column of the table represents station code, useful for fast search in the MESONET archive. Figure 9 displays location of the selected stations on the Salt Lake valley map.
