4. Other measurements



Table 10 shows list of all performed measurements. You can find details of each measurement with results by clicking number in Run column.

Description of columns in table 10:
run: experiment number (ordinal)
thermal boundary condition: TL  temperature of coolant inside the left wall, Ttemperature of coolant inside the right wall,  Th temperature inside the aluminium left wall,  T­c temperature inside the aluminium right wall (see Figure 6,7)
delta T : difference between Th and T­c
dimensionless numbers: Rayleigh and Prandlt numbers calculated for current configuration ( constant values of material properties for avarage temperture (Th + T­c)/2 were applied)
tracer: name of the tracer used for visualization
PIV: columns informs whether PIV(velocity) measurements were perfomed (X - yes, - no)
PIT: columns informs whether PIT (temperature) measurements were performed (X - yes , - no)
resolution: resolution of camera used to acquire digital images
delta t: time delay between frames (time delay between two consequtive images, parameter to PIV measurements)
